HPB Sparks the Trend of Smart Healthcare: Initiating International Exchange, Leading the Future of Health
rom October 5th to 7th, 2023, HPB, in collaboration with the Hsinchu Biomedical Incubation Center, was invited to participate in a visit to Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) and the Baltic Life Sciences Forum and Exhibition, co-organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council. The event offered a fresh perspective, showcasing the unique features of their smart healthcare technology product, Ezcaring P1, and leading participants into the future of healthcare. This endeavor not only solidified their position in the international market but also underscored HPB’s pioneering role in the field of intelligent healthcare.
Exploring KTU: Building International Academic Bridges
A day before the exhibition, the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) thoughtfully arranged a visit and exchange program for participating exhibitors, guiding the team to visit Kaunas University of Technology (KTU). This visit not only provided a valuable opportunity for interaction with university professors but also deepened the connections for international academic collaboration. Professors shared fascinating insights into their research achievements in various biotechnology fields, with a particular focus on biotechnology, pharmacology, and medical devices. Such academic exchanges not only enriched the professional knowledge among partners but also laid a solid foundation for future collaborations. Through this in-depth exchange, it showcased the collaborative efforts and potential partnership opportunities within the international academic community in the fields of biotechnology, pharmacology, and healthcare.
Shining at the Taiwan Pavilion: Spotlight on the Baltic Life Science Forum Exhibition
Following that, HPB actively participated in the Baltic Life Science Forum and Exhibition, showcasing the innovative Ezcaring P1 amidst the gathering of professionals in the life science field. This year’s Baltic Life Science Forum brought together 82 biotech companies and 39 academic institutions from 33 countries, attracting over 785 attendees, including prominent names like Roche, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Mediq, Polpharma Biologics, Northway Biotech, Biomapas, Vilnius University Hospital, and the Lithuanian Biotechnology Association. Although caregiving products were not the primary focus for potential buyers, Ezcaring P1 still garnered interest from over ten potential buyers, paving the way for future follow-ups.
The Taiwan Pavilion made a remarkable appearance, and HPB experienced outstanding display results, including a prime location, overall image, and media benefits. The media exposure was significant, with the Taiwan Pavilion receiving coverage in over ten articles, of which six highlighted HPB and its products.
The delegation from HPB delved into analyzing the structure of the exhibition hall and the distribution of exhibitors. They observed that the Baltic Life Science Forum predominantly focused on the life science domain, with relatively less attention on smart caregiving. Recognizing this, future market expansion in the Baltic region may require more targeted promotion and awareness efforts for smart caregiving. Amidst their success, HPB gained a clearer understanding of the future market direction.
